Itinerary: | |||||||
Let's do a couple of loops on Pine Mountain and start Memorial Day off right! Our approximately 5 mile trek will cover the east and west trails, with a jaunt up to the spectacular summit overlook. We will meet at the west trail parking lot. The pace will be a moderately fast 2.5 - 3mph, but we'll slow down a bit on the steeper ascents. After the hike, we will have the option to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. I'm still working out the lunch option, unfortunately the AOC favorite of Swheats will be closed Memorial Day! Not to worry we'll have another good option! Dogs are permitted on this hike but please keep in mind that you will need to be able to leave it in the car during lunch is you join us for that!
