Itinerary:

Please join us for a hike and trivia AOC event at the Vickery Creek unit of the CNRA. We will be hiking at a moderate to semi-fast pace but will stop for a short break at some intersections. Total distance will be around 4 to 5 miles.  We should be finish with the hike portion around 7:00 PM.

Afterward, please join us for the optional trivia portion of the event at Roswell Tap (770-992-9206) which is a few miles north of the Mill at 7:30 PM.   Don't worry if you are not "good" at trivia.  It is just an excuse to socialize after a hike!  :)

When you sign up, please write in the note section whether you plan to attend the optional trivia portion or not so we know whether we need to reserve a large table for us or not.  Thank you.  :)

How to Get There:

There are a lot of ways to get to the Roswell Mill. It's at 120 and S. Atlanta Road in Roswell. Use either the physical address below or the lat/lon coordinates to get your own directions. We are meeting behind all of the shops at the Mill. Just keep going towards the water.

We are meeting at the trailhead behind the shops of Roswell Mill. It is where Hwy 9 (S. Atlanta St) and Hwy 120 (Marietta Hwy) intersect. There's a popular restaurant called Chaplin's in that shopping center. When you turn in to the shopping center (from either direction) you will be on Mill St. - Mill St dead ends in to Mill St. and you take a right on to Mill St which will dead end in to the parking lot.

Notes:

A maximum of 3 friendly dogs are permitted on this hike. They must be on a leash at all times and you must pick up after your pets per park rules. Please keep in mind if you do bring pets, you may have issues attending the optional trivia portion of the event.


* We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines while participating in AOC events.

Cost Includes:

$3 parking fee at Vickery Creek if you do not have a CNRA annual pass.
