Itinerary:

Join us for a mid-morning hike at the picturesque Sawnee Mountain Preserve.  This is a close in trail that offers great views of the North Georgia Mountains.  The trail is moderate with about 400 feet of elevation.  We start at the environmental center on Spot Road and go at a moderate pace.  On the mountain we will do a double loop to get in about five miles while keeping our heart rate up for a workout.

We will not be starting at the Bettis-Tribble Gap Road entrance.  The Indian Seats lookout on the mountain top is a good spot for a short break while enjoying the scenery. Lunch is optional after we return to the P&R.
