| Itinerary: | |||||||
This will be an exploratory hike - an out and back hike from Warwoman Dell to Pinnacle Knob. Along the way, we will have a view of several waterfalls, hike along the beautiful Martin Creek and make our way up to Pinnacle Knob where we will be rewarded with a panoramic view of the Georgia mountains. We will take a break to enjoy lunch and then make our way back down. The falls are said to be captivating and the view from the top one of the best in Georgia! If you are driivng straight to the event be at the Warwoman parking lot by 9:45 am so that we can start promptly at 10 am. If you would like to meet us at Ingles, be sure let Mike or Joyce know to look for you there. We will park in the first parking lot when we reach Warwoman Dell Recreation Area and follow the Green and Yellow blazes to Pinnacle Knob! | |||||||

| How to Get There: | |||||||
| Event Directions: | | From the park and ride,
take GA 400 North. Turn right onto GA 369 East towards Gainesville. In 20
miles turn left onto I-985 North. I-985 turns into GA 365/US 23/US 441.
Continue to the Ingles Grocery Store in Clayton, GA, for a pit stop. Once
back in the cars, continue east onto Warwoman Road and proceed
approximately 2.3 miles to the Warwoman Dell Recreation Area. (Be
careful - - it's easy to miss the gravel road on your right to the parking lot.
Park in the FIRST parking lot! The trailhead begins at the
far right
end of the parking lot.
