Time to keep the resolution!!!

This is a hike for those individuals looking to break into the D4 ceiling.    

The hike will begin at the top of the falls.  We will hike approximately 5 miles to the Len Foote Hike Inn (on the Len Foote trail). We will stop for a lunch break and hopefully to enjoy the view.  We will return the way we came in.  

This will be a leisurely hike - the pace will be 2.0 and slightly higher, but not by much.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

From the Park & Ride we will go north on Georgia 400 past the outlet Mall to GA 136. Left on 136 till GA 52. Right until the park entrance. Instead of parking in the Visitors Center lot, take a left before the lot and head up the hill to the parking lot for the Len Foote Inn Trailhead.

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $41.60 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Notes:

The Len Foote Inn often graciously provides coffee, tea, fruit and leftovers as snacks for day hikers.  Please remember to bring enough money to tip appropriately if you choose to take advantage of this courtesy.


However, you can not count on there be any food there when we arrive so your trip leaders highly recommend that you bring your lunch :)
