Join us for a leisurely hike at the beautiful CRNRA, Jones Bridge. This is a shorter D1 hike that is good for beginners, but it still provides a nice workout and lovely scenery. If we are lucky, we may see some heron or deer.

The trail is about 3.2 mi on uneven, natural terrain. There is about 260' of total ascent -- everyone can take the hills at their own pace, and we will wait to reassemble the group at the top of each hill. The biggest climb is just about 100', so nothing major.

We will meet in the parking lot at the end of the road, near the kiosk.

There is a daily $5 parking fee if you don't have an annual parking pass. You can pay at the kiosk, or purchase a daily or annual pass in advance at: https://www.recreation.gov/sitepass/2626. A National Parks pass also works.

From intersection of Holcomb Bridge & Barnwell Road. Head north on Barnwell, and travel approx 1.6 miles (be sure not to turn into the first gate, but go to the second entrance) to park entrance, which will be on your right. Drive to the very end of the road, where there is a large parking lot.
