Along Rottenwood Creek starting at Paces Mill Boat Ramp parking

We will meet near the bathrooms at Paces Mill Park.  Please arrive about 10 minutes early.  We will do introductions and then walk along the CRNRA path that connects to the paved Bob Calllan trail and follows the Rottenwood Creek.  We will walk to the end of the Bob Callan trail. There are some rolling hills but nothing too strenuous. This path is like a secret world with beautiful views under the expressway in the city.  We will walk at a moderate pace until the Bob Callan Trail ends with an additional secret trail if we have time. Most of the trail is paved. The duration and length are approximate.

CRNRA pass on your car is required.  One day fee is $5.Or you can buy an annual pass for $40.  If you do not have a pass, you can purchase one online at nps.gov/chat/planyourvisit/fees.htm

You can also buy a pass using a QR code sign in the parking lot.

The official Address is 3444 Cobb Parkway but you have to go below Cobb Parkway to get to the parking lot.  

If coming North on Northside Parkway (US 41) from Mount Paran Road, make a right turn into the park as soon as you cross the river.  There is a small sign where you make the right turn.  

If coming South on Cobb Parkway (US 41) make a right turn right before the river (there is a small sign right after a BP gas station) and then a left turn to go underneath Cobb Parkway to the parking lot.
