Itinerary:

This is a great hike for beginners of for folks who want to take the trails at a comfortable pace just because. The trails are not too long, and definitely not too strenuous. For experienced hikers, it's a nice way to stretch your legs in preparation for the more strenuous weekend events.

We will likely finish before one o'clock, but I'm putting that as the "outside" time. Depending on our route, we'll go between 2.5 to 4 miles.

I haven't been to Johnson Ferry North in a great while, so I'm not sure what shape the trails are in. Be prepared for adventure!

There are bathrooms at this location . . . always a nice amenity. But there's also that $3 parking fee, since this is one of the CNRA units.

From I-285 East

Take exit 24, Riverside Drive.
Left for 2.3 miles to Johnson Ferry Road.
Left, then cross the river and an immediate right into the unit.

From I-285 West

Take exit 24, Riverside Drive.
Right for 2.3 miles to Johnson Ferry Road.
Left, then cross the river and an immediate right into the unit.

From GA 9 North, Roswell Road to Johnson Ferry Road

Right onto Johnson Ferry Road, go 2.2 miles
Cross the river and take immediate right into the unit.

From GA 9 South, Roswell Road to Johnson Ferry Road

Left onto Johnson Ferry Road, go 2.2 miles
Cross the river and take immediate right into the unit.

Notes:

We'll allow up to three people with dogs, so if you register and there are already three people signed up to bring their pups, please do not add yours. All dogs are required to be on leash at all times.

Remember to bring $3 cash for your parking ticket.
