Itinerary:

Come join Joyce and me with an evening / night hike of Sweetwater Creek State Park lead by Ranger Adrian Fox. Adrian will be taking us over 5 miles of trails that will allow us to experience Sweetwater Creek State Park at night. She normally leads a 2-mile version of this hike as part of the park’s interpretative program. She has agreed to do a 5-mile version since we would like a bit more distance.

This will not be a fast hike for two reasons. First, it will be dark and depending on the weather it could be real dark. Second, Adrian has several stops planned so that we can listen to the sounds and possibly sights of the park at night.

Because this is not an expensive event and all of the monies (apart from the slight fee added for the AOC) are going to the Sweetwater Creek State Park this is a non-refundable event - unless the event is cancelled due to weather.  If it is rescheduled, those signed up and paid for the initial date will automatically be moved to the rescheduled event.  At that time, if they cannot attend the rescheduled event, they will be offered a full refund.

Note: there is a $5 per vehicle parking fee. No carpool for these events. No dogs are allowed on these events.
