Welcome!

The Atlanta Outdoor Club is a friendly outdoor social club, with hundreds of events each year. Hiking, biking, running, backpacking, camping, kayaking, canoeing, volunteering, and more.

Upcoming events are listed on the right. They cover the gamut: easy, difficult, and in-between. Most activities are located in Atlanta and North Georgia, but we also organize adventures to other states and even other countries.

Membership is free, and anyone 21+ is welcome to join. Visit the About the AOC section to learn more and begin what could be a rewarding journey.

The name "Atlanta Outdoor Club" and its logo are service marks of the Atlanta Outdoor Club.

Thursday Morning Semi-Fitness Hike at Island Ford

Island Ford’s new trails are really quite easy to learn, and they’re much easier to navigate on with very few roots and rocks. So far, I’ve done three different routes, and have yet (Read more)
