I'm so glad I didn't cancel this hike! The weather turned out to be perfect during our trek . . . not a single drop of rain and warm. We hiked from the Sope Creek parking lot to the creek bordering the last section of Cochran Shoals . . . and then stopped at the cemetery on our way back. The trails were in great shape, and we had two new members to share them with - - Martha (second event) and Lynn F. (a friend from ages ago who just registered with the AOC). Though Trish was on only her 7th hike, she's already become a part of our hiking community . . . and Doug is a seasoned regular on the trails. A small group, but a very social one!  ~  Joyce
