Today was the hottest day of the year for our Island Ford hike, making it especially challenging. But we didn't give-in to the heat - -  we went fast and really sweated! The water breaks were welcomed and necessary, and our after-hike lunch at the North River Tavern was well-deserved. We had three new-to-Island-Ford participants: Jack (2nd AOC hike), Cindy H., and Garth F. (a brand new AOC member). Good job, everyone!  ~  Joyce
