Ok first ever AOC hike at Pickneyville Park was a success.  It rained hard right up until before the hike, and most everyone dropped out, but Andre and Melissa both made it and we got lucky and the rain stopped right as we started.  Then the sun came up and we had a nice walk for about 3 1/2 miles, as advertised.  It worked out much better than I expected and will lead some more D1s here in the future for sure..maybe some D2s as well...
