We took to the hills including twice up the steep road from the meadow. It was another enjoyable workout at Island Ford as we enter our second year of Thursday morning hikes there. The weather was warm and humid, but we were gifted with some overcast skies that kept down the heat. Thankfully, not a drop of rain for our large group.

We welcomed Jack A. to the AOC who joined us on his first hike with the club.  We hope he'll be back! ~ Joyce
