Write Up:Summer was "bustin' out all over" along Emory's huge wooded trail network, and our friendly group had a fine time together on this 2-hour 4-mile hike. We stopped occasionally to photograph and discuss the pretty flowers, trees, vines, lakes, critters, and old mill ruins with their waterfalls.
Thanks to Joyce for shooting lots of colorful photos along the way! "Click for Album" above this archive article to access them. As Joyce mentions atop the album there are many other nice trails along the South Fork of Peachtree Creek, both downstream and upstream of Emory that are worthy of AOC exploration.
It was fun having new member Jenny with us on her first AOC event, invited by her good friend Huiling. We hope to see you both again often in the future!
