Sunday hike from Winding Stair Gap to Wayah Bald was great with absolute beautiful 360 degree vistas at Siler bald on NC Appalachian Trail. Eleven Atlanta Outdoor Club members braved the 90 degree heat to hike 13 miles distance including visit to Wayah observation tower, Siler Bald and Siler bald shelter. We also welcome two new members Tammy S. and Sherman E.
