You might think rain and distant thunder thirty minutes before a kayak event is not a good sign. But as it sometimes happens, at 6:30 pm the sun came out, the rain stopped and we were rewarded with a beautiful rainbow.  This was quite possibly my favorite AOC event to date. Eager faces in the parking lot hoping grey skies would turn blue got their wish. Thank you to the six of us who showed up. I'm so glad we got to witness the magic together and enjoy a beautiful evening on the water.
