Hiking at Island Ford always brings a surprise. Today we got three surprises. One, there was a beautiful turtle that was not one bit camera shy. I'm sure Joyce will share her close-up pictures. Two, there were three deer, a doe and two kids. They were skittish, but always a welcome sight. And three, a newbie with the AOC who not only kept up asked for a more challenging course for a next step up! Wonders never cease.
