We started with four, but added Emily on the trail, making a cozy group of five for this really pleasant late afternoon hike at Gold Branch. Conversation was interesting, making the miles pass quickly. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, and were treated to turtles, herons, deer, ducks, and a dog - - all of them documented in pictures.  ~  Joyce
