Always great to find new hikers coming back for their second week at Island Ford. (Byron and Adriana have been welcomed into the Island Ford family!)  Try as I might, this group of regulars refuse to be left behind! (Well done, group!)  Carol did a great job keeping the pace from the back as my co-lead this week.

We found Susan F. volunteering with a group of school children as we passed the meadow, and I was able to snap a picture of her in her volunteer shirt and hat.  ~  Joyce
