Today it seems someone when through the woods and assigned each leaf to be a zero or a one.  The zeros create the autumnal collage that carpets the forest floor while the ones await visually suspended in mid-air for their turn to drift downward. Like a flower opening it happens so slowly you can't measure the difference in hours, but by next week nature will perform a different show.  I hope you get to catch the performance.
