It was such a perfect morning for a hike.  Words like cloudy, overcast, damp and humid don't typically describe the best conditions for outdoor activities. But once again we had a full group of happy hikers merrily chatting (with a little huffing and puffing) along the trail. Maybe it's the brown and yellow leaves tossed with a few green and red scattered over the ground.  But even the birds seemed to be singing extra songs this morning.  Typically, statements like that should be disregarded as from an overactive imagination. But then someone pointed out that birds do migrate this time of year. Of course. That's it. Then on to discussing the latest movie. Some of the best conversations of my week happen on this hike. What a entertaining and educational way to get some exercise. Thank you Joyce for leading.  It is always such a pleasure.
