On a day that promised high winds and a 100% chance of rain, ten hikers found a place that offered just what we were looking for, companionship and some exercise in picturesque surroundings.  Some say it's Joyce's rain bubble, a knack she has for holding the rain back just long enough to make sure we have a pleasurable event. Sure we had our rain gear on at the start, but as we entered the woods the droplets stopped.  Fall's most vibrant colors must have come out overnight to give way this morning to one of the most beautiful hikes of the season.
