Congratulations on finishing 100 AOC events, Mikey! We're so proud of you!
The skies when we started the hike were overcast and threatening. Carol even found that her weather app predicted rain in 36 minutes. But guess what! The weather bubble came through once again, keeping every drop of rain away, and even rewarding us with sunshine by the end of the hike. The trails were very wet, so most of us used poles throughout the hike . . . but no one slipped, no one fell, and we had a safe, enjoyable hike.
It was great to have Allan back with us today. He's living in N.C. but is on grandad duty in Atlanta for a brief spell.
Eight of us enjoyed lunch at the NRT after the hike - - a long-standing tradition.  ~  Joyce
