Write Up:It is always so nice to hike with a group of high-spirited, energized hikers like the one that I hiked with today at Island Ford. A group of 6 completed a nice 8-mile hike at Island Ford in 2 hours and 45 minutes. We even managed to take several photo breaks in which we photographed a Turkey Vulture and some Heroins along the Chattahoochee River. We also observed many of the other beautiful landscapes and views of the Chattahoochee River from the many wonderful trails at Island Ford. Thanks again hikers for an awesome hike!
