t was a last minute hike, but we gathered a fine group of 10 to trek through Sope Creek this morning. The air was cool, the skies clear, and the group fit. We first went to the ruins so that Cindy (brand new AOC member) and Larry could see them. Then we hiked to the cemetery in the Cochran Shoals section of the park. Then, we hiked through the meadow next to Sibley Forest, ultimately finishing our hike by Sibley Pond. We were treated to the antics of Beth and Deb whom we encountered twice on the trails. Those two never fail to make me laugh, and they're always willing photo subjects.  ~  Joyce
