Cold temperatures and chilly wind gusts reduced our twenty registrants to just thirteen. It was a clear quiet morning with a deer spotted at the start of our hike. Within thirty minutes we were removing the outer layers and setting into a nice pace. About half of our group stayed for the extra 1.75 miles. The others were content with four.  We had six for lunch at Mellow Mushroom and we even got to dine in the tree.  You know we were having lots of fun because we forgot to take a picture! Maybe next time.  ~Trish
