We had a wonderful hike today at Sawnee Mountain this morning.  We had a great group of people - one brand new member Lori and one fairly new member Lev.  We decided to do a figure 8 loop taking the Indian Seats Trail to the observation deck then connecting to the Yucca trail on the way back which gave us a total of 5 miles.  We had amazing views from the observation deck of the Blue Ridge peaks on this very clear morning.  On the south side descent we had a rare clear view of Stone Mountain.  We stopped by both gold mines for photo ops.  It was a chilly, windy hike but an awesome day to be outside!!
