We had a strong group of fourteen hikers at the start of this crisp morning hike.  Eventually the sun came out to warm us up as we tried to hike 20 minute miles.  Maybe because we were cold, but we just couldn't hold ourselves back and we ended up with just under 18 minute miles including stops. The group stayed together as we walked and talked, mostly two by two.  With only the smallest amount of grumbling and complaining about a couple of hills we found (repeatedly) along the way. Oh yes, we lost one hiker on the last pass due to a work related phone call. Other than that, I would say it was a very successful hike. Thank you all for joining me.  ~Trish
