We had a great hike today with 100% of our group, all twelve of us, going long and hiking the 5.75 mile distance. For those who don't know, this hike offers an extra (optional) loop and everyone wanted to add the extra (1.75) miles. Our regulars have gotten fit!  It pays to hike through the winter, if you want to be strong in the spring.  What a lot of folks don't realize is how enjoyable these cold mornings are.  It's easier to go faster and longer this time of year.  If you don't believe me just wait till summer gets here.
