There were eleven of us to enjoy the spectacular weather Sunday morning. As usual we explored some of Sope Creek park before traveling down into Cochran Shoals. In our first hour we hiked over three miles, with the temperature slowly warming up as we went. Our pace slowed down in the second hour and we ended up with a total of five miles. We encountered quite a lot of bikes and other hikers along the way - apparently everyone was out to enjoy the sun!
