We had spectacular weather - clouds and rain finished up just as we were getting out of the cars - we had sunny weather with a breeze and enjoyed the markings of early spring on the trail.  Pilchers Pond was warm, sunny, with a couple of geese setting up house.  As we left, we saw the handi-work of a beaver.  We finished the hike in clouds and some sun - well before the storms.
