The yellow pine pollen was thick in the air, causing some of us to have runny noses and itchy eyes for the entire hike; but we'll take it, as the 100% chance of rain earlier predicted didn't come through until later in the day. The group of 20 arrived on time (a wonderful, well-trained group), and we challenged ourselves with three trips up "the hill." We earned our lunch at the North River Tavern where a dozen of us joined each other after the hike. ~ Joyce
