The rain bubble held again, with great effort today. What were to be certain showers during the hike didn't materialize, so our luck held out. We hiked a different route, saving the warm-up hill till the end (to be nearer to the parking lot when the rain came) and went extra fast in case we had to cut the hike short. But as you can see from the photos, we didn't need our rain gear at all. Another successful, enjoyable hike - - with 10 of us gathering for lunch at the North River Tavern afterwards. ~ Joyce
