The hike at Blue Heron Nature Preserve in Sandy Springs this morning was the perfect balance of nature and hiking. The weather was perfect for this event in which our group of 13 enthusiastic hikers hiked 3-miles in one hour. While on the trails at Blue Heron, we saw many different types of trees, birds, a couple of squished turtles that Dennis H. located, recycled art, and some other amazing views. I hope to hike with everyone again soon and thanks for making this an awesome AOC event!
