We were treated to ripening blackberries on the trail this evening - - a sign that summer is around the corner. We also saw glimpses of deer - - always thrilling on a hike. This section of the Kennesaw Battlefield has well-maintained trails and easy footing, without much elevation change . . . an opportunity for a low-stress 5.5 mile leg-stretcher. ~ Joyce
