How the bee(s) knew which two were the trip leaders and went straight to us to attack, I'll never know. Everyone else should be be forewarned, the bees are out.  Actually, they are probably yellow jackets. Either way it's time to consider what you might need to be prepared. Items like Benadryl, aspirin, sting wipes and an Epi-pen, if you are allergic, might come in handy. Other than that, it was a pleasant warm and humid hike.  We covered 5.6 miles in an hour and fifty-four minutes. The newer hikers were well prepared for the pace, Larry celebrated his 100th hike, and lunch was especially wonderful because our fellow hikers are such a delight.  Thanks for joining us.  Hope to see you all again next week. ~Trish
