What an exciting night! We celebrated Gayle's 100th AOC event and met a brand new AOC couple - - Traci and Dave! The hike itself was great fun, especially as we spotted deer by the reflection of their eyes in our flashlight beams. With Huiling's eagle eye, we were able to see six of them! Huiling was also great at spotting spider eyes and tiny frogs that hopped across our path. Tim saved us from some extra miles by using his GPS tracker to keep us on course.  :-)

After the hike, nine of us drove to the 24-hour IHop in Cartersville for a late night breakfast of pancakes and eggs.  

We'll definitely have to do a repeat of this event. ~ Joyce
