There is something special about this place.  It's dark, quiet, smelly (in a good way).  The ground is easygoing and the woods comforting.  The re-route to Pinnacle Knob is vastly easier than the previous ravine hike.  We added Courthouse Gap to ensure our D4 met requirements.  We smiled, chatted easily, and enjoyed the day.
