Despite the threatening skies, we had a big turnout for the Sunday evening paddle.   It was great to see our regular paddling group as well as meet newcomer Doug on his first event and paddle with  Trena C.  & Summer on their first Chattahoochee paddle. Welcome to the club Doug and Congrats to our 1st time paddlers!  Fifteen paddlers paddled downstream from Azalea Park towards Bull Sluice. After about 45 minutes of paddling, we arrived at the cliffs. From there, we entered a cove where we saw 2 fawns swimming across the river.  How exciting! There was little wind or current which made our paddle back up river a bit easier than usual (By Ray S.) Since this was Ray's first co-lead, we decided to celebrate at North River Tavern afterwards for some good food, great company and lots of unsweet tea. Keep em coming!
