Another great group for our weekly hike at Island Ford. Though the air was slightly cooler, the heat continued to take its toll on our hikers. Slowing the pace toward the end helped to get us all through. A couple of trees had recently fallen across the trail, evidence of some recent winds. The giant mushroom continues to grow. And we met some friends on the lollipop loop! ~ Joyce
