The drive on the way to the park was grey and rainy. But once we gathered together the sun came out and cool breezes blew.  We visited the open areas often to take in the refreshing gusts of wind. In the meadow we saw a flock of five blue birds in the pear trees. The little trees were loaded with fruit. What an unexpectedly beautiful hike for such an overcast morning.  Thank you all for showing up despite the weather.  I'm so glad it turned out to be such a nice hike. ~Trish
