Wonderful evening hike on the Chattahoochee!  Started out in the parking lot with 2 does and several nursing fawns in the adjacent woods.  As we hiked along the river we serenaded by an owl.   When we got to the clearing we were greeted by 2 bucks (picture does not do justice).  All along the trail we saw deer and beautiful mushrooms, and couple of crazy squirrels that almost ran the TL over.  We put in 5.7 miles at brisk pace.  There was much discussion whether it was a fast pace or not.  We’ll keep debating the appropriate term for the pace next Tuesday.
