Write Up:
A warm welcome to Natalie who joined us bright and early on her first AOC hike. Cooler temps. made it a great morning for hiking! Upon the start we saw tiny little white flags in the field. After getting back we found out there was going to be a parade with larger flags. A few of us stuck around to watch. It was to commemorate the tragic loss of life and sacrifice 15 years ago on September 11. There is a display of 3,000 flags on the front field. It should be up for a couple more days and is spectacular site to see!!
