There is always an awesome group of hikers for the Flashlight hikes. Tonight was no exception. There was a nice group of 20 including newest hikers Nancy E., Adam & Rebecca S.. Our group hiked about 3.25 miles at Big Trees along the creek, across several bridges, along the boulders as well as up to the top to see our community garden, the overflow car lot, and some other urban sites. The best part of the hike, aside from an awesome group, was the different views of a familar trail in the dark. The flashlights and darkness made us all feel like kids.  So much fun! After the hike several of us headed up the street for dinner, and laughs. Welcome to the AOC newcomers, and great to see our returning AOC hikers! Thanks again everyone and I look forward to hiking again soon!
