I had so much fun with our AOC hikers this morning at Morgan Falls. While I was checking everyone in for the hike, a group of AOC paddlers (many of my favorite paddlers) were starting an event at the dock below Morgan Falls Dam. After saying hi to everyone and taking pictures of course, we were off to the secret lake, creek, urban art, the dock, dog park and up the hill to Morgan Falls Overlook park. Next, we hiked the nature trail around the park, to the boat dock, Bull Sluice Lake and the Outfitters. Our adventurous group of 21 including brand new members Tricia and Angela hiked 3.25 miles in 1 hour while enjoying the amazing views of Bull Sluice Lake, Morgan Falls, and the sun over the lake. Awesome job hiking this morning!
