To quote one of the hikers (Linda), "We huffed, we puffed, we sweated all over, and smiled all the way."  Another fun hike at Jones Bridge, even though it was on Wednesday instead of Tuesday.  The last day of summer provided a beautiful soft evening light to enjoy the trails.  We were visited by an owl who was close enough that we could tell what tree he or she was in as he hooted to us.  But, he/she would not show his face.  Towards the end we were treated to a number of geese feeding at the shoals.  A lovely evening in the woods.
