It's a good thing the air was cooler today, because the hilly trails at Vineyard Mountain take some effort! The ascent up the Blue Trail at the beginning was challenging - - and then came the "advanced" Red Trail. The group was fit for the difficulty, however, and we kept a good pace. Views of the dam were amazing, we were the trails themselves. If you haven't hiked at Vineyard Mountain, it needs to be a bucket-list item. (Note: There's now a $5 parking fee at the Allatoona Dam Road access.) ~ Joyce
