It was a great evening to hike Jones Bridge.  Just a touch of fall in the air, soft evening light bathing the forest.  We were treated to see 2 herons, 3 deer, the always present geese, and an owl wished us good night as we headed back to the cars.  Need to get a camera, the phone pictures don’t do justice.  To quote one of the hikers, "just about perfect."  Lots of conversation about food and recipes, we all left hungry.  We did our usual 5.8 miles, at a quick pace, and were treated to nature.
