This was the last of Trena's popsicle Mondays now that the weather has cooled down. (They were greatly appreciated after the hike, though!) We stopped by the ruins for the participants who hadn't yet seen them and then headed down the long Cochran Shoals bike trail before climbing up the trail to the cemetery. Along the way, Eric and his son, Forrest, passed us and stopped for a quick photo. (They met us once again at the parking lot and enjoyed one of Trena's popsicles with the us.) We met Mary, a newcomer to Sope Creek, who tagged along with our group and took our group photo. 

It was great having Trena back after her Rim to Rim race in the Grand Canyon.  ~  Joyce
